Poulnabrone Tomb, Caherconnell, Clare, Ireland

On the burrens near Caherconnell, County Clare, stands the Poulnabrone Tomb. It is one of those things you've just got to see. It's between 3000 and 4000 years old and is the tomb for at least 22 people.

You can see from my pictures that's it's in the middle of a field of limestone.

By the way, I wouldn't call Caherconnell much of a place!
